Availability
(Avails)
- Space available for sale.
Bill
Poster
- The person who places the poster on the billboard.
Blank-Out - Blank paper used
on a billboard to cover the previous advertising message.
Bleed
through
- A flaw
in the new poster sheet, the previous poster can be seen through
the current one.
Charting
the Showing - The process
of selecting the individual billboard distribution on city streets,
designed for maximum reach and frequency.
Daily
Effective Circulation - The average number of people
passing a poster each day. This is a gross figure, which includes
multiple passes by people in a day.
Display
period - Posters are usually contracted for monthly exposure.
Face
- The surface of an out door advertising structure on which the
message is posted or painted.
Imprints/Snips
- A strip imprinted with your name, address and phone number that
usually covers the bottom of the poster.
Open
Space
- Billboard’s
available for your use.
Poster
Sheet -An individual section
of an outdoor billboard.
Posting
Date - The date on which the posters or a showing are
scheduled for display.
Traffic
Count - Recording of the vehicles and pedestrians passing
a given point to establish daily effective circulation.
