Average
Quarter-Hour Persons
- The estimated number of persons who listened to a station for
a minimum of five minutes within a given quarter hour.
Metro
Survey Area (MSA) - These areas generally correspond
to Standard Metropolitan Statistical Areas as defined by the US
Office Management and Budget.
Rating
- The average Quarter-Hour Persons estimated expressed as a percentage
of the universe.
Sampling
Unit - A geographic area
consisting of a single county, a group of counties or a part of
a county.
Universe
- The estimated number of persons in the geographic area being reported;
categorized by sex and age group.
